Ziox Mobiles releases new cheap smartphone

Local device creator Ziox Mobiles on Wednesday released a new cheap smartphone - Astra Star with a price tag of Rs 5,899 approx. 91USD.

The new Astra Star features 5-inch FWVGA display and 2.5D-curved glass sports with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie camera. It also has a 2350mAh battery.



CEO-Ziox Mobiles, Deepak Kubo said in a statement,

"Bringing high-end and front-line technology in our smartphones at affordable prices defines our signature 'Astra' range of smartphones."


Furthermore, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM that is expandable up to 32GB. And runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

HMD Global made a great commitment when it launched Nokia-branded smartphones earlier
this year, saying it would update the phones regularly.

“We’ll be sending a press release during this week, keep an eye out,” an HMD Global representative told Gearburn when they  asked regarding the availability of Oreo.

It’s worth noting that the update is currently being pushed to the Nokia 8, HMD confirmed on Twitter. But what about the Nokia 2? Will it receive Oreo?

The Butterfly 3 comes with a 2700mAh battery that is same as the HTC J butterfly that was launched last year.  Additionally, the Qualcomm Quick Charging 2.0 tech. The device might be launching in Taiwan on October 20 along with a price tag of TWD 19,900. Soon it will be available globally however the price details are yet to be known.

Heading to HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera, the device has same specs with the HTC One M9+ besides the new laser auto-focus program and greater main camera. The new version features a 21 megapixel auto-focus main camera along with OIS and f/2.2 aperture.   Featuring a dual lens design yet now the secondary back camera on top works as the laser auto-focus program.  The front facing UltraPixel camera stays unchanged.

The smartphone features the same 5.2inch QuadHD display and powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor paired with 3GB RAM. The built in storage on this handset is 32GB that can be expand up to 128GB via microSD good enough, The non removable battery loads with a 2840mAh, colour variant are Silver Gold and Gunmetal Grey. Price still yet to be confirmed.
